01// OUR STORY

Threat Unknown was founded by security engineers from Amazon and Robinhood. We built and operated infrastructure protecting millions of users and billions in transactions. We know what serious security looks like.

We kept seeing the same pattern: startups and growing companies getting hit for the same preventable reasons. Not because they didn't care. The tools available were either too expensive, too complex, or too passive. Reports that nobody acted on. Alerts with no one to fix them.

So we built what we wished existed. An AI platform that does the ongoing work and brings in our engineers when judgment is needed. Big-tech security practices, accessible to any team.

02// HOW WE OPERATE
We build, not just advise. No reports. No alerts with no one to fix them. Real security outcomes.
01

Build, Not Just Advise

We implement, configure, and ship. Every recommendation comes with working infrastructure behind it.

02

Technical Precision

Details matter. From IAM policies to network segmentation, we get the specifics right the first time.

03

Architectural Alignment

Security controls integrate with your existing stack. We design for how your teams actually work.

04

Adversarial Logic

We think like attackers to build defenses that hold under real pressure.

05

Velocity First

Security that enables your engineering team, not a gate that blocks releases.

06

Radical Transparency

You see exactly what agents find, what they change, and why. No black boxes.

03// ENGINEERING HERITAGE

BUILT BY
OPERATORS.

The founders built and secured infrastructure at Amazon and Robinhood. That experience shapes every detection, remediation, and recommendation in the platform.
